Starting fall 2007, I have moved
to the Graphics Lab of
the USC Institute for Creative
Technologies. I also spent the summer of 2003 at ICT as a research
intern with Dr. Paul Debevec.
I have recently completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, where I was affiliated to the Imager Computer Graphics Laboratory, and supervised by Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich. My doctoral dissertation is in the area of realistic rendering. My current research interests include realistic image synthesis, computational photography, Monte Carlo methods and machine learning techniques for graphics and vision. I did my Master's in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, where I was supervised by Prof. Arie Kaufman in the Visualization Lab. Here are some pictures from a hike along the the Mt.
